NuBrew Origin Story
Region: Tarrazu, Costa Rica / Elevation: 1,200 to 2,000 meters
The Tarrazu region is located in the interior mountains of Costa Rica and is known to produce distinguished coffee. Tarrazu is a market name for coffees produced and processed within the region. Coffee from this area is known to be relatively heavy-bodied with a complex aroma. At the beginning of last century Don José María Navarro, took the first seed of coffee at Llano de Los Angeles in the Área of los Santos.
Navarro knew that the height and quality of the land would mark a difference in the taste of coffee, but not imagined back then that his idea would produce one of the best coffee in the world. In addition to maintaining the traditions of the family and the county, the implementation of optimal processes leads us to obtain high quality grains and healthy organic products that allow us to continue being a sustainable company, that generates a positive impact in the community and across the world.
