Welcome To NuBrew Church
About NuBrew Church
Our pastor is Rich Yasinski and his wife is Rebecca. At NuBrew we are about eight different things:
Authenticity
We strive to always be real, honest and genuine in everything we do. We want more than slick productions and nice appearances. We want to encourage our gathering to be real with God and one another. It's about a spiritual journey we are all tackling together.
AcceptanceWe want to be a safe and accepting harbor for all people. That does not mean everyone will always feel personal comfort at Nubrew Church. The truth of the Gospel can at times cause all of us to feel uncomfortable at times. However, we encourage acceptance and diversity in our church body through allowing people to use their unique blends of experiences, gifts and insights believe that we will be enriched as a community by the contributions of each individual. In other words, it's never a "one man show".

Relationships
Instead of church programs, ministry is about people and building relationships with those people. We want to be a Christian community where there is love, acceptance and acceptability. For us, a church is more than services and programs. At heart, it is a community of people. This best takes place when there is freedom for people to be the church.
Organization
We keep the structure simple and flexible. Jesus said only new, flexible wine skins could hold the new wine of the Spirit, so we are committed to remaining flexible, teachable, not change-averse. We will never say, "we've arrived". We want to remain humble and sensitive to the Lord's leading in every area.
Personal Spiritual Growth
We want to guide people to discover the truth of the Gospel for themselves. There is tremendous excitement in seeing a person discover that they can have a personal relationship with God and learn to listen to His voice on their own. This is our motivation in all our discipleship. We do not believe in reducing our relationship with God to 10 easy steps or giving everyone a list of do's and dont's.
Teaching the BibleIn our preaching and teaching we strive for relevancy and practicality. God's Word is living and powerful and we want to preach and teach it without apology. We try to get out of the way as much as possible and let His Word speak to us. The preaching of God's Word calls for a response from us and we want to provide opportunity for that response. We are committed to carefully teaching and preaching of the Bible rather than the preacher's opinions or the ideas of the age. We are committed to the inspiration, accuracy and sufficiency of Scripture.

Worship
Our worship is authentic and God focused. We want to create a genuine environment of praise and worship that is offered to God alone. We are not about amusement and entertainment. Our worship and singing is God and Christ focused.
Missional
Being a missional church is a shift in thinking. This is not a trendy tag for us, nor is it another phase or program. A missional church is not a dispenser of religious goods and services or a place where people come for their weekly spiritual fix. A missional church is not a place where mature Christians come to be fed and have their needs met. A missional church is not a place where "professionals" are hired to do all the work of the church. A Missional church is not missional just because it is contemporary, young, hip, postmodern-sensitive, seeker-sensitive or even traditional. A missional church can be described as:
- Not simply how many people come to our church services, but how many people our church serves.
- Not simply how many people attend out ministry, but how many people have we equipped for ministry.
- Not simply how many people minister inside the church, but how many people minister outside the church
- Not simply helping people become more whole themselves, but helping people bring more wholeness to their world. (i.e. justice, healing, relief)
- Not simply how many ministries we start, but how many ministries we help.
- Not simply how many unbelievers we bring into the community of faith, but how many ' believers' we help experience healthy community
- Not simply working through our past hurts, but working alongside the Spirit toward wholeness
- Not simply counting the resources that God gives us to steward, but counting how many good stewards are developing for the sake of the world.
- Not simply how we are connecting with our culture but how we are engaging our culture
- No simply how much peace we bring to individuals, but how much peace we bring to our world
- Not simply how effective we are with our mission, but how faithful we are to our God.
- Not simply how unified our local church is, but how unified is "the church" in our neighborhood, city and world is.
- Not simply how much we immerse ourselves in the text, but how faithfully we live in the story of God.
- Not simply being concerned about how our country is doing, but being concerned for the welfare of other countries.
- Not simply how many people we bring into the kingdom, but how much of the kingdom we bring to the earth.
